Accounts Payable Specialist

Qualifications

• High level of accuracy in data entry and strong problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Word/Excel programs a plus
• Have a minimum of two years of experience in AP
• Exposure to Stampli or another Invoice Automation software is preferred
• Work well in a fast-paced, high-level team environment

Responsibilities

• Maintaining vendor information within the accounting software. This may require requesting updated insurance certificates and/or W-9s.
• Process vendor invoices in a paperless environment assuring the accuracy of coding to include: account, location, and department.
• Record monthly automatic payments to ensure correct coding and authorization.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and answer any vendor queries.
• Assist internal managers with the proper completion of expense reports and/or the approval of subordinate expense reports.
• Maintain accounting department files including subcontractor agreements, leases, and fixed asset files.
