RIGHT NOW HEATING, AIR CONDITIONING, PLUMBING & ELECTRICAL SURPRISES BLACKFOOT VET WITH NEW FURNACE
As highlighted in this East Idaho News article: “What true humanity is supposed to be”: Veteran receives free furnace from local company,
Living with an almost 40-year-old furnace, Vietnam Veteran Frank Perry was concerned about using the failing system and potential carbon monoxide poisoning ahead of temperature drops this winter. Thanks to Right Now Heating, Air Conditioning, Plumbing & Electrical, the Blackfoot resident will now have a safe home and peace of mind.
On Thursday, October 9, Mr. Perry was the recipient of a brand-new high efficiency furnace – valued at approximately $6,000 – that was donated and installed by the Right Now team led by East Idaho Site Manager Bryden Frisk.
Learning about Mr. Perry’s need from the Idaho Division of Veteran Services, Right Now gifted him the unit after visiting his home and inspecting his existing furnace. When he learned about the generous act, he couldn’t believe it, even calling back because he “thought it was a dream and needed to make sure this was real.”
Mr. Perry was born and raised in Moreland, ID. Joining the Army in 1972, he served as an infantryman and door gunner on UH1 Huey Helicopters in Vietnam. Upon returning from military service in 1975, he worked in construction for 40 years, before retiring in 2015.
Living on his own and dealing with a disability in his lungs that causes breathing issues, Mr. Perry said the new furnace, “will make my life a lot better….They [Right Now] showed me what true humanity is supposed to be.”
Offering high-quality service and using state-of-the-equipment for more than 20 years, Right Now serves more than 300 Idaho homeowners daily, offering a wide range of services including heating and air conditioning repair and installation, plumbing, and electrical.
